Biography
A member of Khazraj tribe of Madinah. Met with the prophet (saw)in the elevent year of his mission, 620 CE. Among the six people from Yathrib to make the pledge to accept and spread Islam and to return the following year with new converts. Was appointed as one of the nine chiefs of the Khazraj tribe in the Second Pledge of Aqaba. After the Migration to Madinah, Talha ibn Ubaydullah lived with him.
