Biography
He was the son of the second Caliph 'Umar ibn Khattab. He was a prominent authority in hadith and law, and was known for his piety, honesty and erudition in Prophetic traditions. He was too young to participate at Uhud, but participated at Khandaq and later battles.\r\n
