al-Walid bin al-Walid

He was captured by the Muslim at the battle of Badr. His brothers paid the ransom but he went back to Medina and became Muslim. He was taken back to Makkah and was imprisoned with 'Ayyash bin Rabi' and Salama bin Hisham. Prophet(saw) prayed for their release for 3 years. He died when he entered Medina due to injury he suffered during his escape from Makkah.
