Biography
Full Lineage: 'Abdullah ibn Qays bin Saleem bin Hadar bin Harb b. 'Amir b. 'Unz b. Bakr b. 'Amir b. 'Udar b. Wa'il b. Najia b. al-Jumahar b. Asha'r b. Udd \r\nYemeni missionary, military commander, judge and Governor of Basra, renowned for his integrity, who represented Ali(RA) in the dispute with Muawiyah(RA). Despite Abu Musa’s reputation as a soldier and politician, he was also praised for his beautiful recitation of the Qur'an. \r\nHe was sent with Mu'adh bin Jabal to the people of Yemen.
